Along with the Beatles, The Beach Boys and Frank Sinatra, the group is one the four best-selling artists in the history of Capitol Records.
They released 19 albums that made Billboard’s Top 100, 14 of which ranked in the top 10, and five of which hit the number one spot.

Many of these songs are a reprise of their 1960 vinyl LP album, “The Last Month of the Year.” Beginning with the original 1957 group, Dave Guard, Bob Shane and Nick Reynolds, and then John Stewart replacing Guard, though the George Grove, Bill Zorn and Rick Dougherty era, The Kingston Trio has won three Grammys, topped the charts, received numerous accolades, and played to packed houses, winning hearts around the world. This CD / DVD includes four bonus songs not shown in the television special.
